Once in a while an artist appears from out of nowhere and captures your imagination and heart with their passionate and heartfelt songs. Adam James is one of those artists.
Born in the New South Wales coastal town of Macksville and raised in Brisbane, Adam James is an Indigenous Australian from Moreton Bay in Brisbane. Growing up listening to the likes of Mark Knopfler, Johnny Cash, Kenny & Dolly, Billy Joel, Jimmy Buffet, Elvis, Gladys Knight, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and more, it was through his parent's collection that Adam developed his passion for music.

Adam is the host of ABC3/NITV's national children's game show "Letterbox", currently in syndication until mid 2010
Following the release of Adam's studio album in April, he will be touring through Europe, America and Australia
